Light, patience, and a lot of driving
I'm Kaden Baker, a photographer based in Longview, Texas. Most weeks that means portraits in late afternoon light, product and brand work for local businesses, and whatever back road looks promising on the way home.
"I shoot a room the same way I shoot people. Slowly, and without rearranging anything."
The other half of the archive is quieter: schoolhouses left to the weather, storefronts with their signs still up, and the kind of sky you only get an hour past the last streetlight.
Sessions are unhurried and collaborative. You'll get a small, edited set rather than a hard drive of near-duplicates, because the picking is part of the work.
