- On location, always. Most senior sessions cover two or three spots in an afternoon: a campus, a downtown block, a back road or field outside town. If there is a place that matters to you, we start there and build the rest of the session around it.
What time of day are portrait sessions shot?
- Late afternoon into dusk. Everything here is natural light, so sessions are scheduled around golden hour and the half hour after sunset, when East Texas light is soft and the color holds.
How long does a portrait session take?
- Plan on an hour or two for senior portraits, families and couples. Headshot and branding sessions are usually shorter since they stay in one or two locations.
Which East Texas towns do you travel to?
- Based in Longview and in Tyler most weeks, with regular sessions in Longview, Kilgore, Marshall, Henderson, Gladewater, Texarkana. Anywhere else in East Texas is worth asking about.
What should I wear for a senior portrait session?
- Bring two or three outfits you already feel like yourself in, leaning on solid colors and texture over busy patterns. Layers help, since they change the look of a frame without changing locations.
